I mainly plan to use this as a film review blog, but I'd also like to share my other interests here as well! I feel like it'll be really freeing to have a place where I can talk about the things I enjoy without having to worry about the pressures that social media brings. Just my own little space to talk about anything I want, and share the things I create! I feel like I'll really benefit from having a place I can practice writing and reviewing without a super huge audience.

I also think that here, I'll be able to be a little more in-depth with my reviews than I can be on letterboxd! It'll be my own space to talk about whatever I'd like to, and that feels very healing to me. If you'd like to chat or have any questions, feel free to email me at celluloidnightmarez@gmail.com!!

The name of this blog, Pink Celluloid, is a reference to the horror fanzine 'Crimson Celluloid' by David Nolte. The "Pink" in Pink Celluloid is in reference to ピンク映画 (Pinku Eiga), which are a fascinating and hugely varied genre of Japanese Sexploitation films that I am incredibly fond of.
